Early Childhood Coaching

Early Childhood Literacy & Learning Specialists work with educators face-to-face or virtually to develop skills in instructional practices, teacher-child interactions, and data collection. Through working with our specialists, educators develop the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure that children enter kindergarten ready.
My experiences with The Center have been awesome. I am learning a lot but still have some struggles, they follow up with me on my progress. I greatly appreciate The Center. Mrs. Brandt has helped me to improve my teaching techniques. Plus how to deal with the kids!

The first five years of a child’s life create the foundation for children to accomplish critical developmental growth that sets the stage for later school success. From the first day of life to the first day of kindergarten, children will learn, change, and grow at a rapid rate. It is during these first years that the brain undergoes its most dramatic growth.

The Center’s Coaching Model

We implement the Practice Based Coaching Model in our coaching interactions. This model supports teachers and leaders use of effective teaching practices that ultimately lead to positive outcomes for children.

Three main coaching components are:
