What is your role with The Center and what are you most excited about?

At The Center, I am a Coordinator for the program Louisiana Reads! While working with The Center, I am most excited about networking and meeting new people from across the state and building new relationships.

What is your background?

I am currently a student at Southeastern Louisiana University working on my Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Family and Consumer Sciences. I have worked in a Child Care System on the Northshore and worked closely with children at The Global Wildlife Center.

What is your favorite childhood book or literacy memory?

My favorite childhood book is the Harry Potter series. I have always enjoyed reading the books and watching the movies without any breaks!

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?

If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I would be hidden away in the mountains in a warm, cozy home with a good book or movie to keep me occupied.
